The chimney draft gets worse with every fire
The soot layer in the pipe grows quietly in the background – the stove draws worse, the smell sticks, and it's too cramped behind the pellet stove or the dryer for you to want to crawl in there yourself. Booking a chimney sweep for a quick check feels unnecessary, but ignoring it feels wrong.
Screw together 3.69 meters and clean it yourself
The chimney sweep kit has 9 flexible rods of 41 cm that screw together one by one to a reach of 3.69 meters, a 100 mm nylon brush on top and a hex adapter. The flexible rods follow the bends in the pipe instead of stopping at the first bend.
Features
- Clean it yourself between the chimney sweep's visits – screw together your own 3.69 meters and pull the brush through the pipe.
- Follows bends where a rigid rod gets stuck – the 9 flexible rods bend with the curve instead of stopping.
- Reaches behind the stove or the dryer – 9 rods of 41 cm each screw together to a reach of 3.69 meters.
- The soot is brushed loose, not scraped – the 100 mm brush head has nylon bristles.
- Build only the length you need – the rods screw together one by one, so you take as many as the pipe requires.
