The roof is what you never see – and what costs the most to fix
Rain, leaves and bird droppings end up on the roof, and it's exactly the surface you don't climb up to check. Water stays around roof hatches and seams all winter, and the sealant softens.
Once moisture is inside the roof, a spring wash isn't enough. Then it's a repair.

Cover just the roof – not the whole caravan
A full cover is heavy to get on alone and rubs against the paint all winter. This covers only the surface that actually takes the beating.
Water runs off the waterproof 210D Oxford fabric instead of pooling. The edge hangs 30–40 cm down over the sides, so the seam between roof and wall is under cover too.

How it stays put
The cover's own straps are on all four sides. They are 2.5 m long, adjustable in a buckle, and hook on under the bottom edge of the body.
In addition, two reinforced 10.5 m tie-down straps come with it, running across the roof – at no extra cost.

How to put it on yourself
-
Pull it out. Lay the bundle on the roof, take hold of one short side and pull the fabric out until it covers the whole roof.
-
Hook it on. Walk around the caravan and hook the straps under the bottom edge of the body, one side at a time. Tighten each strap in the buckle until the edge rests against the wall.
-
Tighten it. Throw the two reinforced straps across the roof and tighten them. Then the fabric lies flat and the wind can't get under it.

Which size should I choose?
Measure how long the caravan is from front to rear edge, without the drawbar. Take the size that is at least as long – if the caravan is 7.2 m you take 3 × 7.5 m. All nine are 3 m wide.

Frequently asked questions
Does it fit both caravans and motorhomes?
Yes. The cover is 3 m wide, and the straps are 2.5 m and adjustable, so they reach the bottom edge of the body on both.
Will it blow off?
No. The straps hook under the bottom edge of the body on all four sides, and the two reinforced straps across the roof hold the fabric down so the wind can't get under it.
Can I leave it on from autumn to spring?
Yes, that's exactly how it's meant to be used. If heavy, wet snow falls, shovel it off – just as you would without a cover.
Can I still reach the door and windows?
Yes. The cover lies only on the roof and the edge hangs 30–40 cm down – door, windows and hatches stay clear.
